Matt Wiedenhoeft, MBA
Founder - President
Matt has been involved in the business environment all of his life. He has been at the operational and management level since he was a teenager. His family tree is filled with business owners, starting with his grandparents who built a roller skating rink post WWII. It evolved into 10 rinks and a skate supply distribution center at its peak in the 1980's. His parents, have founded and owned-operated multiple successful businesses.
Mr. Wiedenhoeft received his MBA in Strategic Management [with Distinction] from Davenport University. He holds a with his BBA in accounting, which he completed after a five-year professional hockey playing career. During his time in college, Mr. Wiedenhoeft was a Head Coach in minor-professional hockey for two seasons, one season of college hockey, and a season junior hockey. His background in business and hockey are equally as impressive.
Matthew is a university adjunct professor business and management at Davenport University and Economics at Grand Valley State University. He has held various board positions, including the Jaycees, First General Credit Union, and St. Mary’s Catholic School.
Starting and operating businesses is part of Matt's background. He has been involved in a partnership capacity in multiple businesses in different industries - food service, retail on-line sales, etc. He took his business professional background to start a minor-professional hockey franchise in under two months from opening night, prior to selling it during the season. Matt is the co-founder and President of the National Roller Hockey League. The NRHL is the United States’ only professional roller hockey league. The league has operated for two successful seasons, with longevity preparations taking place.
Mr. Wiedenhoeft has been married for over ten years to his lovely wife, Gina. They have three beautiful children - Landon (11), Noelle (9), & Paxton (5). He and family currently reside in Spring Lake, MI.
Kolleen Wall joined the PALANO Consulting, bringing with her over 35 years of business experience. Her experience is in start-ups and small business ownership. She founded and operated four small businesses, as well as being part of the management team growing up in her parent's businesses. Kolleen has been a success story over and over again in every endeavor she approaches. After many years in business, she received a BBA in accounting with High Honors [Suma Cum Laude].
Kolleen's specialties include multiple areas of the start-up process. She will be assisting with start-up entrepreneurs to define their goals, work on strategic plans, as well as guide them through the initial planning processes. Kolleen will also be focusing on accounting principles with many of our clients. It is her passion for success that drive results, and it is portrayed in her relationships with the clients. She has a knack for identifying areas of concern in small businesses, especially during the initial planning periods.
Kolleen has been married for 11 years to Frits Hartgers. She has four children, and five grandchildren. She also has 2 step-children, and 5 grandchildren in the Netherlands.
Social Media - Customer Relations - Health Care Consultant
Gina joins PALANO as our lead customer compliance executive, research analyst, and social media consultant. She has been involved in two prior ventures with her husband. She attended Michigan State University post high-school as a journalism major, prior to pursuing a Pharmacy Technician associates degree. She is completing a bachelors degree in healthcare management in the future.
Gina has an uncanny ability to assist in the research of new and innovated techniques for our clients. She has done multiple research assignments in her past career fields. Her knack for picking out the specific information pertaining to the project is impeccable.
Customer service, social media, and health care are her primary concentrations; yet works on other projects. She has maintained multiple social media pages on Twitter, Facebook, instagram, and other platforms. She understands the process of how to increase user traffic..
Gina has over 10+ years of direct and in-direct customer service experience. customer service is core competency established in her background - Retention, surveys, satisfaction compliance and experiences.
Gina is major asset for PALANO with her education and experience in the medical field in various positions. She has experience working in the pharmaceutical and family practitioner industries.
Gina has been married for over ten years to her amazing husband, Matt. They have three beautiful children - Landon (11), Noelle (9), & Paxton (5). Gina and the family currently reside in Spring Lake, MI.
Administrative Assistant - Research Specialist
Abigail Wall is the PALANO Consulting team Executive Assistant. Abigail is the go to person in the office for our consulting team for a multitude of tasks. She is in charge of setting up appointments, assisting in creating marketing and client presentation packets, and keeping all members of the team on task. Her keen understanding for time management is a great asset for the PALANO team.
Abigail has a youthful spirit, that translates into amazing work. She has vast experience speaking with executive level management and making connections. Her communication skills boost the firm to another level when building rapport with our clients.
Abigail has an associates degree in criminal justice. She is working on a Bachelors in Business Management. She resides in Muskegon MI
